Diagnostic wax-up provides a very important role to show patients what cosmetic dentistry can achieve.

Whilst maintaining the importance of occlusal and smile design principles diagnostic wax-ups allow the patient a “real life” evaluation of how the restoration could look. At this point the patient can decide if they are happy with the projection or if any adjustments are necessary.
The models can be used as a visual aid for adequate tooth preparation or with the use of vacum formed stents quick fabrication of outstanding temporaries can be made in surgery. In addition to this you may request a putty matrix to assist you in preparation.
